Professor Dr. Reda Saad Mohammed Ezz is a Professor of General Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University. He has over 35 years of academic and surgical experience in gastrointestinal surgery, bariatric surgery, and advanced laparoscopic procedures. He earned his PhD in General Surgery from Ain Shams University and received advanced training and specialization in gastrointestinal surgery and laparoscopic surgery in France.

He has held several leadership positions both in Egypt and abroad, including Head of the Surgery Department at Riyadh National Hospital in Saudi Arabia and Head of the Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery Unit at Demerdash Hospital. He is a pioneer in esophageal and gastric surgery, bariatric surgery, and anorectal surgery, with extensive experience in both traditional and advanced laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Reda is actively involved in academic and educational activities, supervising the training of physicians and medical students. He has numerous research papers and scientific publications and is a member of several specialized local and international surgical societies.
