In the period from Oct. 1993-July 1995, and from Oct. 1997-July 1998, I had a post as a specialist in Visceral (G.I.T) surgery department in BREST University Hospital in France

The department was concerned with management of the gastrointestinal tract surgery cases presented to the BREST University Hospital (Hôpital de la Cavale Blanche).

During such period I was responsible for the management of the patients Pre- and postoperatively, assisting in the theater for list and casualty cases, and performing unsupervised various surgical procedures.

Prof. Dr. Patrick LOZACH was the head of department ; a pioneer in oesophageal and gastric surgery; I was his first assistant for about 200 cases of oesophagectomy for carcinoma of the oesophagus.

• - I joined Insurance Hospital, Riyadh, KSA in September, 2001 until 2011 then Riyadh National Hospital until January 2014 acting as Senior Consultant General ,Laparoscopic and bariatric Surgeon.
• - Head of surgery department, Riyadh National Hospital, Riyadh, KSA (2012-2014)
• - Head of upper GI surgery unit, El Demerdash Hospital, Cairo,Egypt (2021-2023)

• - Expert in esophageal, and gastric surgery (All benign and malignant disease). Six years experience in Brest University,France working in highly specialized GIT center
• _ Expert in anal surgery with experience of more than 2000 stapled hemorrhoidectomy and Hemorrhoidal artery ligation (more than 500 cases).
  One among the first surgeons introducing the technique of HAL in KSA and Egypt
• Expert in managing complicated anal cases as faecal incontinence ,anal stenosis and high complex recurrent fistula
• Expert in Bariatric surgery (VBGP, Band, bypass and Sleeve gastrectomy) with IFSO license since 1998.
• - Operate upon all general surgical procedures:
  Appendectomy, Hernias, Bowel resection and Anastomosis, colectomy, Thyroidectomy, Splenectomy, gastrectomy, Oesophagectomy, Cholecystectomy, Mastectomy, Anal operations, and Amputations.
• - Assisted and perform various endoscopic procedures including:
  Upper GIT endoscopy including injection of oesophageal varices, insertion of intragastric balloon and Diagnostic & therapeutic colonoscopy.
• - Operate upon all laparoscopic surgical procedures:
  (cholecystectomy, appendectomy, herniorrhaphy, fundoplication, gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy, bypass, esophageal gastric and colonic surgery)
